
Raúl Musibay: Robert has been here for about 40 years and when we fish in the Everglades National Park we always stop there.
Glenn: For many years, the shakes drew us in. They make some great batidos with tropical fruits such as mango, mamey, papaya, pineapple, banana, and key lime.
Raúl: On a hot day, a line forms at the shake window.
Jorge: They give you a number so that you can shop the store why you wait.


Raúl: Robert has a nice selection of dried fruits.
Jorge: You might wonder why anyone in Miami, surrounded by fresh fruits and vegetables, would want to eat dried fruit?
Glenn: Drying fruit intensifies the flavor and the sweetness. Bad drying technique produces a product that tastes and chews like shoe leather.
Raúl: This is also the place to get honey. They have a dozen or more varieties, and best of all, you can sample them all at your leisure.



Jorge: Get some shakes for the kids, then wander out back and let the kids look at the animals.
